Judy Frick Pitts

March 30, 1944 - June 10, 2012

Judy Frick Pitts, 68, of 709 St. Peter Church Road, Chapin died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Pitts was born on March 30, 1944 in Chapin, SC a daughter of the late David Wesley and Gladys Lindler Frick.

She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and owner of Judy & Gladys’s Store.  She enjoyed going to yard sales, flea markets, traveling and bead work.  Mrs. Pitts dearly loved her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Tamra (David) Haselden of Little Mountain; sons, Dan (Ann) Pitts of Little Mountain, Hugh (Kathy) Pitts and Scott (Angela) Pitts all of Prosperity; grandchildren, Hugh, Jr. and Allen Pitts, Charles, Lola, and Jim Haselden, and Troy Frick; sister-in-law, Patricia Frick; and many other special family members.  She was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy W. Pitts; and brother, Wendel Frick.

Funeral services were 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at St. Peter Lutheran Church by the Rev. David Tholstrup.  Interment was in the church cemetery.

The family did receive friends at the residence, 709 St. Peter Church Road, Chapin, SC  29036 and at the church, one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers were Dave Frick, Devin Coltrane, Steve Farr, Carey Farr, Keith Ostrander, and Marc Lindler.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Carroll Pinner, Jamie Morris, Craig Lindler, Darrel Roland, and Wade Roland.
