Dear Miss Marilyn, Ricky and family, Our hearts go out to you and the family. I will always remember Doc as he stopped by and welcome us to the Bush River community in 1975. He told me then that he was a "damn yankee" and that he was here to stay. He and You all have been great neighbors and very good friends. D0c taught me alot about caring for livestock and love for the land. I have missed seeing up and down Bush River Road, but friends like Doc will never be forgotten. May God Bless You All!
- Nancy and Lewis Lee

Dear Family, Doc was a great individual and one that I respected and admired. He always had time for me and would give me advice, mostly good and then the jokingly kind. I have missed visiting with him. Our prayers are with your family. Jim

Marilyn, Joan, Rick and families- Debbie and the family have talked me out of heading south in my pickup to be with you. It just seemed that somebody from the Chittenden family should be there. The last time I saw Doc was his birthday in Louisville and I rambled on about the special freindship between our families. As I grow older I seem to appreciate more the things I took for granted when I was younger. One of those things is the special relationship I had with Doc. The many discussions we had as we did herd checks at Fair Weather, the rides together to Keene for NE sale committee mtgs, and my idea of summer vacations as a young teen ager-traveling with Doc for 3 or 4 days selecting consignments for the Mass state sale and doing herd checks along the way. There were times when he thought I was wrong and called me on it, we always talked it out and he always respected my opinion (except maybe one showday in Perry). I am proud to call him a mentor and freind and I know my life is better for having him a part of it. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
- Paul Chittenden

Elaine ,I, and family wish to extend our sympathy to the Malnati-Doran familys at this time. To my Uncle-thanks for the memories-JOHN
- John & Elaine Bottiroli & Family

Dr. Malnati and his family have always been as nice to me as possible whenever our paths have crossed over the years. This is one of those incidences when a family like that is hurting, I'm hurting as well. I extend my thoughts, prayers and sympathies to all-of-you during this time.

Only so many people are ever considered to be icons in their industry but Doc Malnati was certainly that in the Jersey and dairy industries! What a wonderful man! While I only knew him a little I had a world of respect for him-he was spoken of so highly! The world and the Jersey breed are hugely better because of his presence. May God bless and comfort his family.
- Russell Gammon

Doc will always be in my memory and the industry will miss him.My asociation goes back to North Adams and his support as we grew the jersey industry in the south east and his help as we moved 100's of jerseys from New England to their new homes.May the almighty treat him kindly as Doc did his fellow man.Sincerely Ed Crotty
