Christie Crowder Whitaker, CFSP

Christie Whitaker is licensed funeral director since 1974 licensed by the S.C. Board of Funeral Service.

Christie Whitaker is a graduate of Newberry High School, Newberry College and received her Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina.

Christie is a member of the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association and formerly chaired the Disaster Response Committee. She is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association where she participates in a number of areas. She is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Academy of Funeral Service Practice. Christie is also a member of the National Disaster Medical System Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team where she serves as the Team Leader for Family Assistance.

Christie is involved in her community, is a member of The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and over the years has served on numerous boards at the local, state and national levels.

She is married and the mother of four daughters.
