Frances Boozer Bickley
September 26, 2008

Frances Boozer Bickley, 72, peacefully reunited with her Lord and Savior at her home on September 26, 2008 after her diagnosis with lung cancer in April. Frances was born on February 5, 1936 to her parents the late Ligon William and Edith TeNora Hunnicutt Boozer. Frances resided in Raleigh for over 35 years, and also called Newberry, where she was raised, her home.
Frances was a wonderful person and anyone who knew her was touched by her smile, her laughter and mostly her love. She was very creative and found joy in oil painting, stain glass, and sewing. She loved the beach but most of all she loved being home and spending time with her family. At her last high school class reunion she cites her biggest accomplishments in life as “having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and being a loving and devoted wife and mother”. Frances was blessed with three grandchildren and each one was the light of her life. Her love of life and her caring spirit will always be remembered. Frances was a friend to all. Frances had a deep faith in the Lord and encouraged those around her to always trust in His will and plan for their lives. Throughout her illness, Frances kept her heart fixed upon God’s love and His grace.
