Bruce "Charlie" Comingore 82 of 2203 Harper St. Newberry widower of Barbara Felker Pitts Comingore died Friday June 24 2005 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.Mr. Comingore was born on May 23 1923 in West LafayetteIN. He was the son of the late Fred and Esther Pershing Comingore. He was retired Master Sgt. of the US Air Force. He was a 1983 Graduate of Newberry College a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer the Newberry Lions Club and the 12th Armored Division Association.Mr. Comingore is survived by his son and daughters-in-law Bob and Susan Pitts of Eau Claire WI Lisa Pantano of Butte MT; a sister Catherine Robbins; two brothers Joe and Bob Comingore; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren.Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer by the Rev. Steven Counts. Interment were in Newberry Memorial Gardens with full military rites.Visitation were from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
