Mrs. Alice Teseniar Frier 86 of Newberry died Wednesday September 3 2008 at White Oak Manor. She was born on September 18 1921 in Henrietta N.C. moving to Whitmire as a child. She was a member of College Street Baptist Church.Mrs. Frier is survived by her son James J. Frier II and his wife Martha of Warner Robins GA; two grandsons Jim and Jarrett (Teri) Frier and two great-grandsons Hayden and Dane Frier all of Georgia; two brothers Junior and Robert Teseniar both of Newberry; and two sisters Edith Burton and Frances Reed both of Newberry. Mrs. Frier was predeceased by her husband James E. Frier her parents Adam and Ida Teseniar and her brothers Joseph Eugene C.M. and Earl.Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev. Ken Ferrell. Interment was in Whitmire Cemetery.The family did receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Newberry.
