Alison Brien Allen, 52, of Chapin, died October 22, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 17, 1970, she was the daughter of Robert Brien of Bristol, TN and Yvonne Todd Brien of Myrtle Beach, SC.

Alison had a kind, outgoing and generous spirit, a beautiful heart, and a passion for helping others. She had a long career as a realtor with Home Advantage and more recently as a fitness instructor at the YMCA Ballentine. Whether she was helping people find a house they could make a home, or leading and encouraging others, especially "her tribe", to take control of their health at the YMCA, Alison found true joy in helping others.

She was also a member of the Chapin Junior Women's Club and the Chapin Architectural Review Board, and she was always willing to serve in any way to improve the community she loved.

Above all else, Alison loved her family. She loved spending time together, traveling and seeing the world. She was so proud of her son Griffin and her love for and devotion to him was in evidence always. Alison was one of a kind and will be remembered for her infectious smile and her sparkling personality. Her presence will be greatly missed by the many who loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband and partner of 32 years, Adam Allen of Chapin, SC; son, Griffin Allen of Chapin, SC; and sisters, Andrea Brien of Burlington, VT and Garen Sherwood of Chapin, SC.

A Celebration of Life for Alison will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at The Cotton Press in Little Mountain, SC. The service is open to all who wish to attend.
