Amanda Faye Frick Gaffrey, 40, of Cayce, SC died on Friday, September 8, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Born on October 25, 1976 in Oak Ridge, TN, she was a daughter of John S. Frick and Connie Cumalander Frick.
Amanda was an employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Little Mountain.
She was known as a phenomenal cook and was very talented with crafts, especially crocheting and knitting. A live music enthusiast, her most memorable concert was seeing Pink Floyd. She was a devoted runner tackling a number of 5ks and a half marathon in 2005. She was also an avid reader, clever lady, logical thinker who enjoyed puzzles and was a lover of animals.
In addition to her parents, John and Connie Frick of Little Mountain, she is survived by her brother, Adam Frick of Little Mountain; sister, Carrie Frick of Duluth, GA; grandmother, Caroline Frick of Little Mountain; a special best friend, Mandy Jones of Cayce and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be prior to her service from 2:00 until 2:45 pm on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Life Center.
Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm on Monday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
