Amber Michele Burke, 27, of Newberry died unexpectedly on January 5, 2023.

Born in Lexington County on February 28, 1995, she was the daughter of Nancy Silver Lazzaro and the late David Silver.

Following high school, Amber moved to Charleston, WV where she earned her Pharmacy Tech degree at Bridge Valley Community and Technical College. With her degree she worked in various retail and hospital settings in West Virginia and North Carolina before returning home in 2022. Back in Newberry, she began a career working with Kraft Heinz.

At an early age, Amber taught herself to play the piano by ear, starting with Silent Night. She was musically talented and throughout her life, found joy in expressing herself through music. Amber enjoyed reading, watching wrestling, and anime.

In addition to her mother, Nancy, Amber is survived by her brothers, Brandon Burke (Amanda) and Dalton Burke; nieces, Alanis and Bethany Hill; nephew, Gabriel Hill; special aunt, Becky Ruff; special cousin "Sister" Nat Shore (Jeffrey); step-family; and paternal grandmother, Ruth Silver.

Amber is also survived by other special friends and family from a long life's journey including many beloved pets.

In addition to her father, David, she is predeceased by her step-father, Fred Lazzaro, and biological mother, Jenny Burke.

Private family services will be held at a future date.
