Andy Beasley 80 of Prosperity SC died Saturday September 28 2013 at his residence. He was born on December 22 1932 in Richmond KY a son of the late James and Dora Beasley. The Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday October 2 2013 at Whitaker Funeral Home Chapin with visitation following from 4:30 to 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Andrew J. Vollkommer at 11:00 A.M Thursday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Interment with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Andy is a Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired after 30 years from Newark Air Force Station in Heath OH. During his retirement he served as a school bus driver for the Chapin Schools for 13 years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Andy is survived by his wife of 56 years Barbara Beasley; daughters Tonya Beasley of Prosperity and Terri Carlisle of Ohio; brother and his wife Donald G. and Jeanine Beasley of Prosperity; four grandchildren Melissa Williams John Carlisle Beth Kretzmann and Angela Carlisle; and eight great-grandchildren.
