Mrs. Ann Chancellor Rowe 77 of 134 Library Hill Lane Lexington and formerly of Birmingham AL died Sunday March 10 2013 at Palmetto Health Baptist hospital. Graveside funeral services were conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday March 15 2013 at the Duck Springs Cemetery in Attalla Alabama. Mrs. Rowe was born on July 14 1935 in Detroit MI a daughter of the late William W. and Ruth Snyder Chancellor. She worked as a nurse for many years was a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church of Birmingham and recently First Presbyterian Church of Columbia. Mrs. Rowe is survived by her sons Marcus (Del) Rowe of Diamond Head MS Ronnie (Claudia) Rowe of Dallas TX Garland (Molly) Rowe of Chapin SC Norman (Annette) Rowe of Hattisburg MS and Neil Rowe of Lexington SC; brother David Harton Chancellor of Birmingham AL; seventeen grandchildren; nieces Linda Burridge and Cindy Wood; and nephew Billy Chancellor. She was predeceased by her sister Carol Lee Chancellor and a sister-in-law Ann Chancellor. The family suggests that memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church of Columbia 1324 Marion Street Columbia SC 29201. The family will serve as active pallbearers.
