Ann Smith King 56 of 12160 SC Highway 121 wife of James R. King died Saturday April 26 2003 at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia. Mrs. King was born on May 22 1947 in Newberry a daughter of Estelle Cromer Smith and the late Jobe E. Smith Jr. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and worked with the Newberry RSVP Singers. Mrs. King is survived by her mother of the home her husband of the home; a daughter and son-in-law Joyce K. and Earl Eargle of Irmo; a son and daughter-in-law Robbie and Claudette R. King of Lexington; four grandchildren Jessica Eargle and Brittany Eargle both of Irmo Ryan King and Cory King both of Lexington. Funeral services for Ann Smith King will be conducted at 4:00 P. M. Thursday at the Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. Lynn Peters. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery Springdale Section. The family will receive friends at the home 12160 SC Highway 121 Newberry from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M. Wednesday.
