Annette Chappell Joslyn

Annette Chappell Joslyn, 68, of Newberry, South Carolina, died Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Lexington Medical Center. Born on April 18, 1957, in Flint, Michigan, she was a daughter to the late L.N. Chappell and Nora Ada Deaton.

Annette attended Clemson University and was an avid Clemson Tigers Fan. She began her career as a Paralegal in the 90’s and retired at Centex Homes, where she was the office’s administrative assistant, where she was loved by many colleagues. She was a beloved grandmother; who enjoyed spending most days, especially Holidays, with her family.

She possessed a fond love for Highland Cows and being at the beach. Annette had no children due to a medical issue in her early 20’s that prevented her from conceiving any children. Despite that, she helped raise her husband's biological grandchildren as her own.

Annette is survived by her grandchildren Justin Joslyn and Matthew Joslyn, and great grandchildren Vela Joslyn and Carsyn Garza.

She was predeceased by her husband of 13 years, Leonard Joslyn.
