Barbara Blockinger Bartholomew of Irmo, 71 years of age, died on July 6, 2020 at her residence. Barbara was born in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of the late Ralph and Elaine Wegherbee Blockinger. She was a 1966 graduate of Fitch High School in Austintown, Ohio. On February 15, 1969 she married her husband Joseph "Joe" Bartholomew and they shared 51 years together. Barbara loved playing bingo. She was a woman with a great personality and cherished her life as a mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Joe; children, David M. Bartholomew (Tracy) of Warren, OH, Joseph R. Bartholomew (Lynn) of Canfield, OH and Richelle Gallagher (Norman) of Chapin, SC; grandchildren, Alec, Mikayla, Tiffany, Joey, Maddie, Hailey and Delaney; and brothers, Gary Blockinger of Austintown, OH, Keith Blockinger of Rock Hill, SC, and Kevin Blockinger of Manchaca, TX.
