Barbara Haddock 88 of Prosperity died Wednesday September 23 2015 at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday September 28 2015 at Newberry Memorial Gardens. She was born on April 22 1927 in Daytona Beach FL the daughter of the late Newall and Ruth Tarbell. Mrs. Haddock enjoyed reading especially her bible and other religious books and articles. She loved gardening and her favorite flowers were her roses. She found great pleasure in cooking and baking which was enjoyed by many. She is survived by children Dale E. Haddock of Columbia Sandra H. DeBrand (Clint) and Douglas B. Haddock both of Prosperity; grandchildren Lisa DeBrand Davis (Scott) Holly Haddock Weidenaar (Joe) Ian Haddock Bertille Haddock and Zachary Haddock; great-grandchildren Shyanne Weidenaar Claire Davis and Meredith Davis; brothers-in-law Hugh Haddock (Linda) and Joseph Haddock (Sylvia); nieces Sheila Kestran Penny Nault Amy Keagy and Allison Cass; and nephews Mark Haddock David Haddock and Harry Haddock. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband James Oliver Haddock and a brother James Tarbell.
