Barnette Wilson Sheely 95 widow of Lonnie Augustus Sheely of 1005 Wilson Street Newberry died Saturday April 8 2006 at the home of her daughter in Pendleton SC.Mrs. Sheely was born on July 9 1910 in Burke County NC; she was a daughter of the late Louis M. and Bertha Cook Wilson. She was a retired L.P.N. with Newberry County Memorial Hospital. She was the oldest member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer George B. Cromer Sunday School Class and WELCA Circle #4.Mrs. Sheely is survived by a sister Margie Bowers of Prosperity; a daughter and son-in-law Connie and Burney Drake of Pendleton; a son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Cathy Sheely of Charlotte NC; a daughter-in law Barbara Sheely of Lexington; six grandchildren four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a son Louis Sheely. Funeral services were conducted 2:00 P. M Monday at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer by Rev. Steven B. Counts.
