Becky Jo Beach Greene 62 of Floyd Road in Newberry wife of Robert Ermond Bobby Greene died peacefully on Monday August 24 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Becky was born in Cabarrus County NC on September 6 1952 a daughter of the late John Robert Beach and the late Mildred Janie Gray Beach. She was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church in Joanna where she was also a member of the United Methodist Women. Becky was a tireless worker who frequently put others needs before her needs. She loved to cook and bake and was well known for her pound cakes and German Chocolate cakes. Known as Nana she had a deep love and adoration for her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Robert Ermond Bobby Greene; children Robert E. Robbie Greene (Sarah) of Newberry and Susan Greene McMakin (Trey) of Greenville; grandchildren Tracy and Lee Greene and Eleanor McMakin; siblings Sue Goff of Newberry and Jimmy Beach (Kathy) of Joanna; great-aunt Gladys Davis and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Tracy Allen Greene sister Cindy Trammell and brothers Kenny Bobby and Richard Beach. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday August 27 at Hopewell United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Mitchell Wray and Todd Johnson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Pallbearers will be Tracy Greene Lee Greene Eric Moore Charles Moore Kevin Moore and Trey McMakin.
