Betty Jones Taylor 73 of 281 Landing Rd. Prosperity SC formerly of Travelers Rest died Wednesday March 10 2010 at her residence. She was born in Gaffney SC to Leona Latham Jones and the late Charlie L. Jones. She was a member of Clearview Baptist Church of Travelers Rest and had formerly worked for P & L Restaurant. In addition to her mother of Inman she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Stanley E. and Lanna Taylor of Anderson and Dwayne and Leslie Taylor of Chapin; two sisters Mickey Daniels and Sandra Littlejohn both of Spartanburg; six grandchildren Todd Taylor Chad Taylor Shawn Taylor Sommer League Kolby Taylor and Ethan Taylor; and eight great grandchildren Meredith Hunter Zechery Jeremiah Chloe Cylie Lance and Anna. She was predeceased by her husband Bobby E. Taylor and her brother Buck Jones.Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday March 12 2010 at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Newberry by the Rev. Dr. Glenn Mosteller. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:30 to 12:30. Interment will be in Newberry Memorial Gardens.The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice Care of SC P.O.
