Beverly Elaine Corley, 90, of Blythewood, South Carolina, died Tuesday morning, June 18, 2024, at Heritage at Lowman in Chapin. She was born on October 6, 1933, in Columbia, South Carolina.

She was the daughter of the late Julian Elijah Eargle and the late Lillie Mae Fulmer Eargle.

Beverly was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Blythewood. She also was once an avid reader. After thirty-one years of dedicated service, she retired from the South Carolina Department of Mental Health.

She is survived by her son, R. Michael Corley (Ann) of Chapin; her grandchildren, Ashley Corley Ingram (Jonathan), Richard Metze Corley (Lindsay) and Justin Michael Corley (Austin); great-grandchildren, Emirie Ingram, Reeves Ingram, Bentley Corley and Avery Corley. She is also survived by her nephews, Tom Eargle (Dorinda), John Eargle (Beverly) and Kenneth Eargle (Cindy).

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, J. Thomas Eargle and sister-in-law Mae Belle Eargle.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday afternoon, June 22, 2024, at St. Andrews Lutheran Church Cemetery, 1729 Blythewood Rd, Blythewood, 29016.
