Bonnie Sue Merritt-McNeil, who loved to be called "Bonnie Sue", departed her loving family on August 4, 2022, at 9:37 am.
Bonnie was born in Sayre, PA on April 10, 1951 to the late Catherine and Edward Merritt. Bonnie was the mother of Melodie Joy Merritt, Noah Daniel Hammerle, Tammy Lynn Fabrizio, and Tracy Renee Graley.
Bonnie was phenomenally talented in sewing, knitting, and crochet, she could create anything. She adored playing with her Boscoe dog, laughing with her friends, and hosting craft and dinner parties. She loved sitting on her porch, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune with her hubby, Steve. She enjoyed cooking and eating anything Italian. She loved her birds, plants, gardens, and most importantly her family. They were her whole heart. She never wavered to show up for anything they needed on any level. Her children were what she considered "everything good in her life" when she was with or near them, then she was at her happiest and felt complete. She loved her grandkids more than life itself and wouldn't miss an event or activity. She would move or change to be by their side at a moment's notice if they needed her. Bonnie's quick wit, fierce love, Italian attitude and drive to make sure her circle of people are all ok, were always at the top of her list. She loved to take care of everyone, and all were welcome in her home without question or hesitation. Bonnie was loved by everyone that she touched and will be missed tremendously.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Steve McNeil; children, Melodie Joy Merritt, Noah Daniel Hammerle (Erin), Tammy Lynn Fabrizio (Mike), and Tracy Graley (Jeff); grandchildren, Kalie Taylor, Peter Slater, Jr., Arionna Marcella Toncz, Tiberius Toncz, Trinity Joy, Bailey Burcham, Bella Fabrizio, Natalie Fabrizio, Ella Rose Hammerle, Isaac James Hammerle, Samual and Leah Marie Bishop, John and Rebecca Cardillo, Christine Graley, and Jennifer Graley; siblings: Nancy Lee Merritt, Shirley Lee Merritt, Edward Augustus Merritt, Jr., and John Russell Merritt; and sister-in-law, Sandy Merritt
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Ann Marie Merritt Dexter.

In lieu of flowers, Bonnie would like you to pay it forward by taking the time and resources for someone in need. Go and do, just not say "thoughts and prayers" Be there, bring a dinner, sit and fellowship with them, make a card, give a gift, walk a dog, and give your time. When you do, take the time to write about it on her Facebook wall and tell us about it. She wants it to be a memorial to her as you fill her page with posts of good deeds and love done in honor of her.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family here on her tribute page.
