Brandon Taylor Rock, 27, was born on February 24th, 1997 in Columbia, South Carolina. He passed on February 22nd, 2025.

After graduating from Airport High School, class of 2015, Brandon joined the United States Army. He served for 6 years with 2 deployments, and was very honored to have created lasting memories with the men and women whom he served alongside.

Brandon was employed by AJ2 Security as a member of their regional management team. He was beloved by his co-workers and teammates, who he also cared greatly for.

Brandon enjoyed the outdoors , he loved to spend time hunting, fishing, and riding his dirt bike. He also loved traveling whenever the chance arose to explore.

Not only did Brandon have the same group of friends since childhood, but anyone who ever met him was graced by his kindness, warmth and joy. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Katie Lynn Rock; his babies, Honey, Abel, and Angus; mother and step-father, Michelle and Mike Haynes, father, Brad Rock; brother, Robbie Rock; maternal grandparents, Ted and Jane "Pops and Nana" Morgan; paternal grandmother, Sylvia Rock; and aunt, Dawn Morgan. He is also survived by numerous comrades all over the globe.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Thomas Rock.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Whitaker Funeral Home – Chapin.

A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Ole Oak Barn – Little Mountain.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brandon's memory to The Headstrong Project or the Gary Sinise Foundation.
