Brian Alan Mature 29 of Woodbridge VA died Friday November 23 2012. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday December 1 2012 at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel in Newberry. Interment did follow in Rosemont Cemetery Visitation was prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 PM Saturday at Whitaker Funeral Home. Born on November 23 1983 at Whiteman Air Force Base Missouri he was the son of Roger and Nora Plumblee Mature. He attended the University Of South Carolina and was employed by Prince William County/Park Authority. He also enjoyed substituting in Prince William County Schools. Growing up he enjoyed playing on his travel soccer team in addition to playing varsity soccer for his local high school. Brian loved to travel with his family and spend summers with his relatives in South Carolina. Brian is survived by his parents; sister Michelle; grandmother Ellen Harper Mature of Newberry; uncles and aunts; Tommy and Rosemary Plumblee of West Columbia SC; Stephen and Susan Mature of Sumter SC; Ronald and Michael Mature both of Myrtle Beach SC; cousins Katie Lane of Lexington SC; Michael Plumblee of West Columbia Andrew Mature of San Antonio Texas; Will and Matthew Mature of Newberry SC; Dillon Bethea of Gilbert SC; and his very close lifelong friends Karl Rohrbaugh of Radford VA and Erik Rohrbaugh of Hilton Head SC. Brian was preceded in death by his his maternal grandparents William Hal Plumblee and Ruby Long Plumblee and his paternal grandfather Albert Phillip Mature We will miss his big heart sense of humor and dynamic personality.
