Bruce Sutherland Schricker, 95, of White Rock, died Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Heritage at Lowman. Born on November 18, 1922 in Champaign, Illinois he was a son of the late Oscar and Sarah Sutherland Schricker. Mr. Schricker was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the Moose International and the Theta Xi fraternity. He worked many years as a Chief Financial Officer for various hospital systems and in his spare time he was a clock and watch maker. Bruce was an avid reader and enjoyed woodworking, traveling, and history. He is survived by his two daughters, Jean S. Grader of Hanover, PA and Laura Burton (John) of Fishers, IN; eight grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Nila Schneider Schricker; a son, Brian R. Schricker, PhD; and a son-in-law, Michael Grader. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery in White Rock by the Rev. Dr. Karen Young.
