Bula W. Stafford 66 of Irmo died Friday November 30 2012 at Agape Hospice House. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Chapin United Methodist Church by the Rev. Albert Cox. She was born on September 13 1946 in Coral Gables FL a daughter of the late Forrest and Oma Holly Williams. Bula retired as an Executive Assistant from Consolidated Systems Inc and she volunteered as a mentor with the Junior Achievement at many local schools. She was an avid gardener as flowers made her happy and at age 50 she joined the Leukemia Society Team in Training and ran the Marine Corp Marathon in Washington DC. Bula is survived by her husband of 48 years Jerry Stafford; a daughter and son-in-law Holly E. and David Borota of Irmo and Clearwater Fl; son and daughter-in-law Jason and Heather Stafford of Winder GA; grandchildren Harrison Lathrop Carsyn Lathrop Jacob (Stephanie) Stafford Trent Stafford Grace Stafford and Zoey Stafford; and a great-grandchild Charlie Stafford. She was the youngest of her siblings with three sisters and nine brothers.
