Caitlin Jane Beverly 8 year old daughter of Michael Mike and Allison McGinley Beverly passed away Wednesday afternoon May 6 2015 following her brave battle with the rare DIPG brain tumor. Her last days were spent surrounded by her animals and her family and friends whom she loved and who loved her dearly. During her eight years Caitlin left her footprints on many hearts. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 11 at 4:00 PM at Chapin Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church Cemetery. She was born on March 16 2007 in the Cayman Islands. Caitlin was a second grade student at Chapin Elementary School. She was a bright and spirited young girl who was full of life had a great love of learning and fun. Caitlin cherished all animals and was quite the amateur artist and creative writer. Through her courageous and beaming spirit and shining personality she made friends with many people. She was awarded honorary positions and memberships in a number of organizations. In addition to her parents of Chapin she is survived by brothers Thomas Beverly of the home and Michael A. Beverly (Emily) of Irmo; maternal grandparents Thomas Tam and Jane McGinley of Glasgow Scotland; paternal grandmother Margaret Beverly Wickline (John) of Washington State; niece Autumn Skye Beverly; aunts and uncles Patricia Lynn Long (Ray) of St. Andrews Ian McGinley (Nicola) of Scotland Thomas McGinley (Tracy) of Scotland and David McGinley (Tracy) of England; cousins Tiger Long Rich Long (Caroline) Mel Harrell Mikayla Helman Charmaine McGinley James McGinley Hazel McGinley Harriet McGinley Kyle Harrell and Micah Harrell. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather Roy Nelson Beverly and aunt Debbie Beverly. To honor Caitlins love of flowers the family will cherish each arrangement.
