Carolyn Sue "Memaw" Goff, 77, of Newberry died at her residence on December 31, 2023. She was born in Concord, NC to John Robert Beach, Sr. and Mildred Jane Gray Beach.

Carolyn was a longtime waitress and will be remembered for her feisty spirit, as her family said, "Anybody that knew her, knew her!" She enjoyed dancing and her family often took time to get together and spend time with each other. She was most proud of her grandkids and great grandkids.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Hart, Nancy Mercer, Deezie (Rickie) Strubeck; grandchildren Kayla, Kristin, Toni, Audrey, Adriana, Kain, Hayley, Miranda; great grandchildren, Elijah, Kenadi, Kayson, Kaiden, McKinley, McKenna, Everleigh, Asher, Wyley, Goldie, Katalina, Kade, Nicholas, Zaira, Lillyana; her sidekick Jo-Jo; and her nephew Randy Beach.

She is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Owens, and her son in law, Richard Mercer.

The family would like to especially thank her caretaker Wanda Suber for her care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
