Catherine (Kay) Bohnet 86 passed away quietly on Saturday August 30 2014 after a long illness into the loving arms of God and her awaiting Patterson clan. Kay moved from her beloved Babylon NY to Columbia SC four years ago to be nearer to her surviving daughter Joann. She is also survived by a son Louis and his wife Kathy of Lake Ronkonkoma. Her son Michael and wife Carol of Tolland CT. She was blessed with 3 beautiful great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one grandson Patrick she has 4 loving granddaughters Jessica Kimberly Alison and Arielle. Mom will be brought to Babylon for an Irish wake buried along side her husband Charles and reunited with her young son Charles lost in 1959. Mom began riding a motorcycle at age 56 and for over 20 years was a member of the New York Retread Motorcycle group. Biker Kay had many thousands of miles under her belt riding her motorcycle to 48 states. She will be missed as much on earth as she is welcomed in Heaven by those who went before her and her large Irish family. Please do something nice for someone today!
