Cathryn Livingston Ruff 94 of 13989 C.R. Koon Highway Newberry widow of Raymond H. Ruff Sr. died Saturday December 04 2004 at her residence.Mrs. Ruff was born on September 26 1910 in Prosperity a daughter of the late Berry Mosby and Alma Kibler Livingston. She was a 1931 graduate of Newberry College and she taught school in Newberry and Kershaw Counties. She was a member of Wightman United Methodist Church and the Pearl Counts Circle and she was a former Sunday School teacher of the Primary Department for many years and a former member of the Crepe Myrtle Garden Club.Mrs. Ruff is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Marilyn Ruff Sease and David E. Sease of Newberry: a son and daughter-in-law Raymond H. Ruff Jr. and Vicki Shealy Ruff of Newberry: four grandchildren Rebecca Harmon Steen David O. Harmon Cathryn "Beth" Ruff Jaeger and Raymond H. Ruff III; a great granddaughter Mallorie A. Jaeger; and two sisters-in-law Mildred Owens Livingston of Columbia and Willie Ruff of Prosperity.Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Wightman United Methodist Church by the Rev. Eddie Taylor.
