Charles Eugene "Gene" Grant 69 of 1484 Highway 176 Little Mountain died Sunday October 5 2003 at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital.Mr. Grant was born in Whitmire a son of the late F. Colie and Doris Moore Grant. He was a retired Senior Livestock Law Enforcement Officer with the Clemson Livestock Poultry Health Programs. He was with them for 40 years. He was a member of Chapin United Methodist Church and former member of the Official Board. He was a graduate of Clemson College Class of 1957. Mr. Grant was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 48 years June Hawkins Grant of the home; and two daughters Linda Kay Grant and Barbara Ann Grant both of Little Mountain. Funeral services for Charles Eugene "Gene" Grant will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Chapin United Methodist Church by the Rev. Jody Flowers. Interment will be in the church cemetery.Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
