Charlie McMillan Senn 90 of J. F. Hawkins Healthcare died Friday March 12 2004 at J. F. Hawkins Healthcare. Mr. Senn was born on June 6 1913 Silverstreet Community of Newberry County a son of the late J. Foster and Elizabeth McMillan Senn. Mr. Senn was a farmer. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Pacific Theater with the U. S. Army. He received the Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. Mr. Senn was a life member of Trinity United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School a member of the Historical Society and a member of American Legion Post # 24. He was a graduate of Newberry College class of 1949. Mr. Senn is survived by four sisters and brothers-in-law Lena S. Webb of Spartanburg Judy S. Schell of Sharpsburg GA Dolly S. and Charles York of Rock Hill and Sue S. and Herb White of Murfreesboro TN; three brothers and sisters-in-law George F. and Cornelia Senn and Billy and Winnie Senn all of Newberry Angus and Genevieve Senn of Silverstreet; a sister-in-law Audrey S. Senn of Newberry. He was predeceased by two brothers Jesse W. Senn and Frank M. Senn Sr. Funeral services for Charlie M. Senn will be conducted at 2:00 P. M. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church by the Rev. Hugh Bickley. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 P. M. Monday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
