Clarice Wilhite Taylor 78 of 372 Old Whitmire Highway Newberry widow of Carl O. Taylor died Tuesday July 1 2003 at her residence. Mrs. Taylor was born on Sept. 19 1924 in Williamston SC a daughter of the late Gursle B. and Bertha Owens Wilhite. She was of the Baptist faith.Mrs. Taylor is survived by three daughters Robin Cofer and Debra Hunter both of Newberry and Denise Taylor-Hartnett of Irmo; three sons Randy B. Taylor and Mark A. Taylor both of Newberry and Carl O. Taylor Jr. of Leesville; a sister Helen Barr of Columbia; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services for Clarice Wilhite Taylor will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
