Colleen Buzhardt Davenport 74 of 7284 SC Highway 56 Kinards entered into eternal rest on Friday November 28 2003 at Self Regional Health Care in Greenwood.Mrs. Davenport was born on January 26 1929 in Newberry County a daughter of the late James Howard Wallenzine and Janie Ophelia Buzhardt. She was retired from Whitten Center and worked for the Newberry County Schools for a number of years until spring of 2003. She was a member of Little River Dominick Presbyterian Church and was a member and secretary of the Presbyterian Women.Mrs. Davenport was twice married first to the late Charles Ellis Davenport Sr. and second to the late Frank Hunter Simpson Jr.Mrs. Davenport is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Charles Ellis and Ann Davenport of Greenville and Gerald Thomas and Debbie Davenport of Greenwood; four grandchildren Charles Ellis Davenport III of Charleston Gerald Bryant Davenport and Thomas Barron Davenport both of Greenwood and Rebecca Ellise Davenport of Greenville; a great-granddaughter Eleanor Grace Davenport of Charleston. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Dana Marie Davenport.Mrs. Colleen Davenport will be remembered with a private graveside ceremony for family on Sunday November 30 2003 at 2:00 P. M. and then at 3:00 P. M. with a memorial service at Little River Dominick Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Lawton Daugherty and the Rev.
