Curtis W. "Curt" Hipp Jr. 44 of 101 Dogwood Court Cayce died Friday January 12 2007 at the Lexington Medical Center. He was born on September 23 1962 in Greenville a son of Curtis Wesley and Jane Boozer Hipp.He was a former employee of Blue Cross and Blue Shield and was a member of Holland Avenue Baptist Church. He graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School Midlands Technical College with an Associates Degree and the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He was a former member of USC Baptist Student Union and was a committee member with the City of Cayce. Mr. Hipp is survived by his parents of Cayce; one brother Craig W. Hipp of West Columbia; and his two special pets Patsy and Buster.Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday at Holland Ave. Baptist Church by Rev. Charles M. Wilson and Rev. Michael Henderson. Interment was in Newberry Memorial Gardens.Active pallbearer were Chris Boozer David Bickley Sharon Long Todd Metts Kyle Godly Mark Avant and Dave Fimby. Honorary pallbearers were Herbert and Frances Bickley and Dick and Mary Ann Kirby. Memorials may be made to Leukemia Society S.C.
