D. Ralph Kinard 83 of White Oak Manor formerly of 5674 Jollystreet Road Newberry widower of Vera K. Kinard died Tuesday May 10 2005 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.Mr. Kinard was born on July 31 1921 in Prosperity a son of the late J. Alonzo and Belle Livingston Kinard. He was a member of Bachman Chapel Evangelical Lutheran Church where he was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class and the Golden Agers. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and was retired from Kendall Company Oakland Plant.Mr. Kinard is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Steve E. and Linda M. Kinard of Newberry; three grandchildren and spouse Belinda K. (Johnny) Trammell of Newberry Elizabeth C. Able and Edward B. Able both of Laurens; and one great grandson John Steven Trammell of Newberry. He was predeceased by a daughter Mary Kinard Able. He was the last member of his immediate family.Funeral services were conducted at 3: 00 P.M. Friday at Bachman Chapel Evangelical Lutheran Church by the Rev. Floyd Sides. Interment was in the church cemetery.Visitation was from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. The family was at the home Mr. and Mrs. Steve Kinard 6315 Jollystreet Road Newberry.Active pallbearers were Wayne Dowd Robert Dowd Monroe Fulmer Rudy Able Nelson Kinard and A.J.
