"Danny Moore" (Olin Daniel Moore, Jr.), 58 years of age, died on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Danny was born on January 20, 1962 in Prosperity and was a son of Shirley Hatcher Moore of Newberry and the late "Redd" Moore (Olin Daniel, Sr.). He has worked as a carpenter and paint and body technician and was currently employed with Rick's of Newberry Paint and Body. Danny was always welcoming, outgoing and sociable and was blessed with a caring heart. He enjoyed being surrounded with family and friends. He had a talent as an artist, loved to draw, enjoyed cookouts, had a fondness for animals and a passion for restoring cars. Danny was twice married, first to Teka S. Dowd, mother of Olin Daniel Moore III, C. Joseph Moore and Amber N. Santamaria (Michael) and to current wife Angela Jean Mary Moore, mother of Jeffrey G. Moore and Dyamond D. Moore. He is also survived by his longtime partner Celeste C. Carrozza and her children Cecily C. Carrozza and Celene Carrozza, Augustus Padgett and Danielle Enlow; a number of loved grandchildren; brother, Joe B. Moore; sisters, Debra Moore and Diane Livingston; and his loved companion dog, King. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Cleve B. Moore. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 23 at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe officiating.
