David Henry "D.H." Frick 88 formerly of 601 Paul Fulmer Road Chapin died Thursday February 18 2010 at Palmetto Health Baptist Medical Center in Columbia. He was born December 5 1921 in Chapin a son of the late Eddie A. and Corrie Koon Frick. Mr. Frick was a US Army veteran of World War II and was a retired Master Carpenter with the University of South Carolina. He was a member and former treasurer of St. Peter Lutheran Church where he had previously served on the Church Council. He was also a member of Lutheran Men in Mission and a former member of Primetimers. Mr. Frick is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Brenda and Leon F. Fulmer Sr. of Prosperity and Amanda and Essie Maghsoud of Rock Hill; four grandchildren and spouses Lynnette and Todd Lever of Pomaria Leon and Meredith Fulmer Jr. of Prosperity and Hanna Maghsoud and Zachary Maghsoud both of Rock Hill; and five great grandchildren Will Lever Shelby Lever Lee Fulmer Lyle Fulmer and Noah Fulmer. He was predeceased by his wife Annie Ruth Lindler Frick five sisters Rosa Kleckley Anna Derrick Masey Bickley Cleo Wicker and Lorene Amick; four brothers Winfred Frick Harvey Frick Homer Frick and James Frick; and a devoted niece Mrs. Wako (Frances) Cotney.Funeral services wree conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday at St. Peter Lutheran Church by the Rev. David Tholstrup Rev. Wako Cotney and Rev. Randall Derrick. Interment was in Newberry Memorial Gardens.The family was at the residence of Brenda and Leon Fulmer 2811 Dreher Island Rd. Prosperity and did receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Chapin. Active Pallbearers will be Earl Frick Jr. Kenneth Frick Phil Frick Kelvin Frick Joe Frick Jr. Keith Nelson Mark Cotney and Glenn Wicker.Honorary pallbearers were the Staff of Generations of Chapin members of Primetimers Dr. Carroll Pinner Dr. John Ferguson and Dr. Ben Pinner.
