Dean "Dino" Hardy Gangale, 46, of Newberry, died Saturday, April 17, 2021 at his home.
Born on Long Island, NY on April 29, 1974, he was a son of Nicholas "Nick" Gangale and the late Barbara Jean Scotto.
Dean was a member of East Lake Community Church in Irmo and worked as the pest control supervisor with the SC Department of Corrections.
Dean had many hobbies – he loved music, horror, movies, especially Jaws and Star Wars. In NY, he played bass with the band the Bel Airs and over the years he enjoyed playing for his churches worship teams. In later years, he created the HuuuH? Podcast where "faith, family, and pop culture collided" as he reviewed films, music, tv, politics and current events. One of his most popular slogans was "Be Decent To Each Other", an important message that he included in his recordings and social media posts.
Dino will be most remembered for "his heart and soul" which was filled with love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Michele Galbraith Gangale; their three children, Kilian, Nichomis "Nico", and Serenity "T.T."; brothers, Dave (Michele) Gangale of Cape Coral, FL and Danny (Tina) Gangale of Long Island, NY.
