Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Crumpton, 67, of Newberry, died Friday, December 23, 2022 at her residence.

Born on December 21, 1955 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late David and Evelyn Smith Crumpton.

Debbie was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and was employed with Senior Catering in Little Mountain. She enjoyed listening to country music, especially songs by Alan Jackson. She also enjoyed the mountains and taking trips to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

She is survived by her siblings, Kitty Roberts (Al) of Seneca, Olin Crumpton (Robbie) of Newberry, and George Crumpton (Lori) of Roebuck; 11 nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Sylvia Moore.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Janie Scarboro.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Eddie Bledsoe at 3:00PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Whitaker Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends following the service.
