Diane Gray 55 of Newberry SC died November 27 2009 at Richland Memorial Hospital.Mrs. Gray was born on February 14 1954 in Atlanta GA to the late Rev. Clarence Olin Gray and Frances Louise Pass. She was the owner of J.D.'s Services Inc on Dennis Dairy Road and the owner of The Christmas Village. She was a member of the Red Hat Society The Kountry Powder Puffs and the Saluda Car Club.Survivors include her husband David Souder of the home; a daughter Crystal and Shane Hood of Newberry; sons C.J. and Kristie Upright of Forsyth GA and Wayne and Heidi Powell of Newberry; grandchildren Amber Upright Dakota (Kody) Upright Trinity Upright Shyanne Powell and Levi Hood; sisters Colleen and Tommy Nelson of Juliette GA and Patricia Gray of Cartersville GA; brothers Danny and Kathy Gray of Lithia Springs GA and Larry Gray of GA; and a number of nieces nephews great nieces and nephews and cousins.In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a grandson David Shane Hood.Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev.
