Diane Wessinger Counts 59 of 1012 Kiblers Bridge Road Prosperity wife of Donald R. Counts died Saturday July 26 2003 at the Lexington Medical Center.Mrs. Counts was born on July 31 1943 in Columbia a daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Edith Slice Wessinger. She was retired from Newberry County Council on Aging. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church the Dorcas Circle of W.E.L.C.A. and was a former member of the church choir.Mrs. Counts is survived by husband of the home; a daughter and son-in-law Edie and Bobby Stockman of Prosperity; a son Keith Counts of West Columbia; a sister Margaret Eargle of Little Mountain; a brother Robert L. Wessinger of Columbia; and two grandchildren Caitlin Stockman and Aaron Stockman both of Prosperity.Funeral services for Diane W. Counts will be conducted at 4:00 P. M. Tuesday at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church by the Rev. John Stoudemayer and the Rev. Andrew Eargle. Interment will be in the church cemetery.Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M.
