Dianne Creech Christian, 74, of Chapin, died Thursday, September 23, 2021 after a long battle with Parkinson.
Dianne was born on September 26, 1946, in Whiteville, NC a daughter of the late Edison and Margaret Nelson Creech.
Dianne graduated from Cleary Business School and worked as an office administrator for several companies including working with her father, Ed, and her husband, Bill at Daniel Construction during the construction of the V.C. Summer nuclear plant.
She was an active member of Chapin United Methodist Church, sang in the church choir, and was a member of the Black Sheep Sunday School Class and the Marjorie Derrick Circle.
She enjoyed cooking and eating, and was famous for her spaghetti. Diane also found joy and peace at the beach, and some of her most memorable trips were with friends to Edisto Beach.
Dianne is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Christian of Chapin; sons, Joe (Emily) Christian of Charleston, and Chris (Michelle) Christian of Colorado; and a sister, Terry (Darrell) Ward of Clinton. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Carol Ann Creech and her brother, Roger Edison "Eddie" Creech.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Jody Flowers on Wednesday, September 29th, 12:00 Noon at Chapin United Methodist Church. Visitation will be prior to the service, starting at 11 AM.
