Dominic John Maddalena, 94, of Newberry, died Saturday, June 11, 2022. Born on April 19, 1928 in Ridgway, PA, he was a son of the late Tony and Angeolina Viola Maddalena. Dominic was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and a US Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Hughes Maddalena; children, Dolor John Maddalena (Alisha), Rosemary Helms (Larry), Tony Maddalena (Vicki), and Michelle Maddalena; loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; sister, Mary Guarino; brother-in- law and sister-in-law, Hugh A. "Bud" and Mary Hughes; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Chester A. Maddalena; and sisters, Theresa Valigorsky, Grace Bencil, and Rose Jennings. A private funeral service will be held.
