Don W. Sprouse 75 of Chapin died Monday August 18 2014 at his residence. Born on Sept. 3 1937 in Adamsburg SC he was a son of the late C. M. and Mary Louise Garner Sprouse. Mr. Sprouse received his BS degree in Education from Newberry College. He was a retired public school science teacher having taught in both the middle school and high school in Florida. He also taught in work study programs and coached many sports. His favorite coaching position was in baseball. He enjoyed fishing and living on Lake Murray. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years Mona Crotts Sprouse; his daughter Lisa Lee of Charlotte; his son Don Cody of Union; and 3 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings Kester Sprouse Phoebe Parks and Nelle Hyder. Private family services were held. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children 950 W.
