Donna Marie Burdick Antoinette, 82, of Chapin, South Carolina, died on September 4, 2026. Born in Saratoga Springs, New York, on November 30, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Verna Ruth Patten Burdick.
Throughout her life, Donna was known for her profound love for her family. A devoted homemaker, she dedicated her every moment to nurturing and supporting her children and grandchildren. With a heart full of affection, she was endearingly known as both a great mom and nana, and she cherished her role deeply.
Donna had an outgoing and spirited personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Instilled with old-fashioned values, she never encountered a stranger and was renowned for her warm, unmistakable presence. Her headstrong and lively nature gave her a unique flair, earning her a reputation for being both spicy and sassy, always with a twinkle in her eye and an unfiltered truth ready to be shared. She was known for her love of crocheting and gifting her creations.
Her life was a testament to love, strength, and authenticity.
Donna is survived by her children, Robert Antoinette (Kimberly), Scott Antoinette (Dawn), Leann Antoinette, Traci Livingston (Rodney); her grandchildren, Amber Allard (Jonathan), Ashley Jacobs (Scottie), Wesley Livingston (Mikhail); her two step-grandsons, Tyler Lovell (Caitlin), and Josh Lovell (Christa); and her four step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, John L. “Tony” Antoinette, and her grandson, Eric John Antoinette. In addition to her family, she is survived by her brother, John David Burdick and sister Kathleen Ruth Burdick.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Newberry Memorial Gardens.
