Doris "Colleen" Neel Swett, widow of John A. Swett, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga. Born on December 26, 1925 in Newberry, S.C. to the late John Calvin "JC" Neel Sr. and Gladys Bedenbaugh Neel. She is survived by a son, John Kennedy "Kenny" Swett of Gainesville, Ga. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, George W. "Bill" Neel and John C. Neel Jr. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Newberry Memorial Gardens in Newberry, S.C. by the Rev. Brett Blackman.
