Doris Newell Stewart 86 of 2020 Harrington St. Newbery widow of M. Bradford Stewart died Tuesday October 24 2006 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.Mrs. Stewart was born in Bolton NC a daughter of the late Rufus and Daisy Dowless Newell. She was a member of Aveleigh Presbyterian Church a former member of Lillington Presbyterian Church a member of the Creative Arts Club and the Fine Arts Club.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Ilene S. and Frank Partridge of Newberry; a son Ray B. Stewart of Clermont Harbor MS; two grandchildren Allison Partridge (Griffin) Beckham of Greenwood and Troup Partridge of Newberry; and a granddaughter-in-law Meredith Nock Partridge and a great granddaughter Nancy Stewart Partridge both of Sumter.Funeral services were conducted at 12 Noon Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev. Mitch Van Metre.
