Dorothy Bedenbaugh Harris formerly of Setzler Road Pomariawidow of Alva S. "Babe" Harris died Sunday June 06 2004 at White Oak Manor. Mrs. Harris was born on November 17 1926 in Prosperity a daughter of the late Horace N. and Colene Smith Bedenbaugh. She retired from Bell South having worked for 32 years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church a former Sunday School Teacher a former member of Women Missionary Society. She was a member of the Bell South Pioneers. Mrs. Harris is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Donna H. and Philip Shealy of Pomaria; a son and daughter-in-law Keith S. "Chop" and Beverly Harris of Pomaria; two sisters Annie B. Frick and Betty B. Frick both of Chapin; a brother Paul N. Bedenbaugh of Prosperity; four grandchildren Wesley C. Shealy of Norfolk VA Julie S. Hoffman Jeremy S. Harris Matthew B. Harris all of Pomaria. She was predeceased by a sister Mary B. Summer. Funeral service for Dorothy B. Harris will be at 4:00 P. M. Wednesday at the St. John's Lutheran Church by the Rev. J. Henri Bishop. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 3:45 P. M. Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall at St. John's Lutheran Church. The family will at the residence Philip and Donna Shealy 236 Setzler Road Pomaria. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund 622 Hope Station Road Pomaria SC29126.
