Dreamer Jordan Jacobs, 80, of Newberry, died on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland.
Born on August 14, 1938 in Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Jordan and Alma Maree.
Mrs. Jacobs was a member of Joanna Church of God. She worked many years as a seamstress, retiring from Damon International. She enjoyed reading her bible, completing word finder books, and sewing for her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her husband, James Ernest Jacobs; children, Jacqueline Long (Ray), Richard Jacobs (Wendy), and Charlene Prince (Tim) all of Newberry; twelve grandchildren; thirty seven great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sandy Jacobs of Hartsville; sister, Debbie Greer (O.D.) of Rockhill; and brother, Jimmy Maree of Lancaster.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Irwin Jacobs; grandchild, Toby Jacobs; and a great-grandchild, Aubrey Perkins.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 PM on Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at Joanna Church of God on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM by Rev. Gene Wooten.
Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cody Jacobs, J.D. Jacobs, Michael Harmon, Jason Jolly, Mikey Jacobs, and Thomas Jacobs.
