Earl Sidney Stribble, 72, of Chappells, South Carolina, died September 21, 2023, at his residence. Born July 9, 1951, in Newberry, South Carolina, he was a son to the late Oscar Simpson Stribble and the late Mamie Lee Leopard Stribble. He was the husband of Mrs. Billy Jean Stribble.

Earl was a proud veteran of the United States Marines Corps. He obtained his associates degree in welding and was on the president's and Dean's list during his studies. For many years he worked on a dairy Farm and with the SCDOT doing road construction. Earl was best known as an avid fisherman and hunter; a talented carpenter, and someone who could built houses. He was a country man to the fullest, who loved his animals, especially his chickens and goats. Above all, he loved unconditionally his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grands.

Earl is survived by his wife, Billy Jean Stribble; his children, Slade Stribble (Irene), Crystal Gist and Wayne Stribble (Stephine); eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and his good friends, who were more like his brothers, Don Mills, Randy Mills and Trent Leopard.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Stribble.
