Edison Creech Jr. 88 formerly of Prosperity widower of Margaret Nelson Creech died Friday April 19 2013 at Springfield Place in Newberry SC. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday April 28 at Whitaker Funeral Home in Newberry SC. Graveside funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Paul Allen at 2:00 pm Monday April 29 at Lake Waccamaw Hillcrest Cemetery NC. Mr. Creech was born on August 29 1924 in Whiteville NC a son of the late Sims E. and Elizabeth E. Creech. He was a member of River Rouge Masonic Lodge in Michigan and a member of Jamal Shrine Temple. Mr. Creech was a man who always provided for his family. He is survived by daughters Dianne (Bill) Christian of Chapin SC and Terry (Darrell) Ward of Clinton SC; seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
